The Pentel Fude-Hajime Brush Pen features a convenient nylon brush tip that is specially designed for beginners. The nylon tip is both stiffer and shorter than other brush tips, which is designed to be easy to control. As a result, users of any skill level can create beautiful brush lettering and calligraphy with ease. Use it for letters, illustrations, and addressing envelopes.

The pen has a compact size and a slender barrel decorated with Japanese patterns. It contains fast-drying, water-based dye ink that mimics the look of traditional Japanese sumi ink.
